Evelyn Lorene Webb
Evelyn Lorene was born October 3, 1923 in Bowie, Texas to Rush and Grace "Gracie" McLemore Downs. She passed from this life Friday, October 31, 2014 at Country Club Care in Duncan, Oklahoma at the age of 91.
Evelyn and Roy Webb were married November 12, 1939 in Addington, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death July 9, 2008. Evelyn was an artist, she loved to paint. She also loved to play tennis. She was Postmaster for the Addington Post Office for over 30 years. She was a member of the Addington Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children - Jimmie Webb and his wife Sissie, and Judie Webb, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Roy, and sister - Frances.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 10:00AM at the Addington Baptist Church with Jason Ebenhack officiating. Burial will be in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-5PM and Monday from 9AM-8PM. Memorials may be made to the Addington Baptist Church Youth Fund or Duncan Regional Hospice.
