Evelyn Clarissa Jenkins was born December 25, 1950, in Comanche, Oklahoma, to J.C. and Dorothy Hance Stuckey. She passed from this life Tuesday, August 30, 2005, at the Duncan Care Center at the age of fifty-four. She and Benny E. Jenkins were married February 1, 1987, in Boyd, Texas. Evelyn was a homemaker and a member of the Ryan Assembly of God.

Survivors include: her husband, Benny, of the home; her father and step-mother - J.C. and Winnie Stuckey of Kingsboro, LA; three sons - Leslie Ray Phillips of Oklahoma City, OK, Steven Jenkins of Ryan, OK, and Benny Ray Jenkins of Granbury, TX; four daughters - Stacie Crimm and Donna Bond of Ryan, OK; Elizabeth Williamson of Lake Worth, TX, and Brandi Ivy of Granbury, TX; one brother - J.C. Stuckey Jr., of Ryan, OK; two sisters - Jewel Stuckey of Houston, TX, and Glenna Marlett of Waurika, OK; eighteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy Hance Stuckey Bond.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jenkins were at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 1, 2005, at the Ryan Assembly of God with Rev. Paul Ratliff officiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
