Evelyn Peck Fuller

Evelyn Peck Fuller was born October 6, 1918 in Dearborn, Michigan to William Arvine and Florence Mary(Burnham) Peck. Evelyn passed from this life Sunday, January 23, 2011 5:50 P.M. at Jefferson County Hospital at the age of ninety-two. She worked as a riveter in the Bomber Plant in Dearborn, Michigan before moving to Oklahoma in 1945. On June 15, 1946 she married Leslie Weldon Fuller. Shortly after getting married, they moved to Oklahoma City where she worked as a blueprint reader for Aero Design. After leaving Oklahoma City they moved to Duncan, Ok where she became a member of the Episcopal Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. In 1977, they moved to Ryan, Ok where she lived out her remaining years as a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband Weldon of the home, daughters - Patricia Cox of Norman, Oklahoma and Janet Castillo of Duncan, Oklahoma, sister - Shirley Gates of Savannah, Georgia, 4 grandchildren ----- Cydney Metz of Austin Tx., Christopher Dryer of Norman Ok., Allison Carr of Austin Tx., and Tiphanie Allen of Ryan Ok., and 8 great grandchildren including----Ryan Metz of Austin Tx., Abby Dryer of Midwest City Ok., Aaron Allen, Makala Woodard, Jordan Woodard, Nathan Allen, Rowdy Allen, and Aspyn Allen all of Ryan Ok.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and nine sisters.

Our wife, mother, sister, and nana will be missed greatly.

Memorial service for Evelyn will be Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 11AM at the Ray of Hope Church in Duncan Ok, with Dow Pannell and Mike McCord officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
