Evelyne Keck Ritter was born March 26, 1930 in Elgin, Oklahoma to A.R. and Ruby Shaw Keck. She passed from this life Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Jefferson County Hospital at the age of eighty. Evelyne was a graduate of Elgin High School. She and Billy Don Ritter were married in Lawton, Oklahoma on March 21, 1951. She was a homemaker and a waitress at Jr.'s Truckstop for many years.

She is survived by her husband Bill, daughters - Betty Elkins and husband Jim and Carol Austin and husband Gayle all of Waurika. She is also survived by 1 sister - Betty Lou Hefner of Mancelona, Michigan, brother - Larry Keck of Duncan, and grandchildren - Barbara Faulkner, Brandon Austin, Devon Ritter, Deralin Retter, Connie Austin, Brett Elkins, Debbie Austin, Brittany Elkins, Mickey Rose, and Beth Boyd and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son - Deral Ritter, and granddaughter - Amber Austin, four brothers - Donnie, Mac, Edgar, and Junior, and two sisters- Thelma and Virginia.

Funeral service for Mrs. Ritter will be Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 1:00PM at the Addington Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Ebenhack officiating. Burial will be in Letitia Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Monday from noon - 6 PM andTuesday from 9AM-8PM with family receiving visitors from 6-7PM. Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Hospital.
