Eva May Bacon Harrison

Eva May Bacon Harrison was born to Floyd and Dora Bacon in the E.B. Ranche Community, east of Addington, Oklahoma, on April 25, 1910. She was a life-time resident of Jefferson County, Oklahoma. Eva married Willard L. Harrison on October 20, 1928, in Addington. She was a member of the Ryan Church of Christ. She died on July 25, 2002, in the Ryan Nursing Home at the age of ninety-two.

Survivors include: two sons - Floyd Lee Harrison and his wife Clara of Ryan, OK, and Willard Wayne Harrison and his wife Linda of Ryan, OK; one daughter, Peggy Harrison McDaniel of Waurika, OK; four sisters - Lois Parker and her husband Alvin, of Waurika, OK, Helen Parker and her husband Claud of Tyler, TX, Jean Neely and her husband Bob of Pascagoola, MS, and Patsy Gorman and her husband Max, of Ft. Cobb, OK; one brother-in-law, John Harrison of Addington, OK; seven grandchildren - Carol McDaniel, Mackie McDaniel, Robin Sehler, Michelle Harrison, Maxine Benson, Sherry Fincher, and Jim Temple; seven great-grandchildren - Sundi Meyer, Jeremy Sloan, Autumn McDaniel, Michael McDaniel, Dillon Williams, Jessie Williams, and Ariella Temple; five great-great-grandchildren - Blake, Kyle, and Gavin Elliott, Braden Sloan, and Camryn Meyer; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Harrison is preceded in death by her husband, Willard L. Harrison, three brothers - Bill, Charles, and John Floyd Bacon, and two sisters - Joyce Wall and Betty Bacon.

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Harrison at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2002, in the Ryan Church of Christ with Lawrence Lewis and Clarence Mize officiating. Burial was in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
