Ernest S. Lleverino was born March 26, 1931, in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico, to Manuel Vargas.and Aurelia Braun Lleverino. He passed from this life Thursday, January 3, 2008, in Oklahoma City at the age of sevent-six. He and Hermelinda Rodriguez were married September 16, 1956, in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico. He worked for a steel foundry out of Wichita Falls, Texas for many years before working in road construction.

Survivors include: his wife of fifty-one years - Hermelinda Lleverino; nine children - Roland Lleverino and his wife Debra, Ernest Lleverino, Jr. and his wife Misty, Aurelia Doyal and Emilo Perez, Rosemary Lleverino, Mary and her husband Joe Morales, Leticia and her husband Amado Morales, Elsa and her husband Doyle Keith, Gloria and her husband Todd Kreitlow, and Irma Lleverino; his brothers and sisters - Josefia Castillo, Paula Lopez, Humberto Yeverino, and Jacinto Yeverino; and eighteen grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five brothers; Jessie Yeverino, Manuel Yeverino, Martin Yeverino, Armando Yeverino, and Jamie Yeverino.

Funeral services for Mr. Lleverino will be at 11:30 AM, Monday, January 7, 2008, at the San Jose Catholic Church in Ryan, Oklahoma, with Father Wolf officiating. Burial will be in the Terral Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Visitation will be at the funeral home in Ryan Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
