Emma Weddle was born January 12, 1927, in Hugo, Oklahoma, to Amos and Nellie Weddle and passed from this life August 8, 2003, at her home in Waurika, Oklahoma, at the age of seventy-six. She worked in nursing and caring for people.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jan Rickett, her parents, Amos and Nellie Weddle, and two sisters, Jewel Welch and Pearl Miller.

Survivors include: eight grandchildren - Buffey Klein, Joe Rickett, Robert Rickett, Jonathan Hegwood, Sarai Hegwood Craig, Jeremy Hegwood, Samantha Hegwood, and Rebecca Hegwood (Buffey is expecting Emma's first great-grandchild); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memoria service for Mrs. Coy was a 11:00 AM, Monday, August 11, 2003, at the Waurika Church of Christ with Noel Currington officiating.
