Ella Maxine Howell

Ella Maxine Howell, 83, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life January 10, 2017. She was born July 24, 1933, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Harry and Roxie Sims Cook. She and Lewis "Buddy" Young Howell were married on May 3, 1952, in Lawton. They were married sixty-four years. She was a member of the Waurika Church of Christ where she was a member of the Ladies Group.

Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by her son Dwayne Howell and her sisters Ruby Fisher, Barbara Kronschnabel, Wilma Cook and Freda Cook.

Survivors include: her husband Buddy of the home in Lawton, four sisters - Jessiemae McCall, of California, Phyllis Moor of Lawton, OK, Frances Yackescha of Oklahoma City, OK, and Dorothy Ford of Marlow, OK, one grandson Chadd Howell and his wife Marcey; and one great-granddaughter Riley Howell.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 12, 2017, at the Waurika Church of Christ with Noel Curington officiating. Burial will follow in the Flower Mound Cemetery in Lawton. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon to 8:00 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika. Condolences may be sent to the family at Dudley Funeral Homes of South Central Oklahoma
