Eileen Momo Johnson

Eileen "Momo" Johnson was born October 18, 1919 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to James Abraham and Mabel Mae (Campbell) Ferguson. She passed from this life November 2, 2011 at her home in Ryan at the age of ninety-two. Eileen attended college at Oklahoma A&M. She and Arthur Jo "Gube" Johnson were married June 11, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker, Bookkeeper for the Gin in Ryan, taught typing and shorthand at Ryan Public Schools and worked at Ivy Law firm in Waurika for many years. She was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Ryan for many years, serving as the choir director for over 40 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Women, Eastern Star, and GFWC Sorosis.

She is survived by: daughter - Lynda Trow and husband Tim of Decatur, TX., daughter in law - Ramona Johnson of Wichita Falls, TX., five grandchildren - Shanna Moody and husband Lance, Heidi Townsend and husband J.K., Tara Mattivi and husband Rob, Holly Bernard and husband Brian, Aaron Johnson and fiance' Whitney, nine great grandchildren - Taylor Richards, Jayden Moody, Rylee Townsend, Will Townsend, Olivia Mattivi, Sean Mattivi, Janson Bernard, Maddox Bernard, and Carlee Bernard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son - Terry Johnson, great grandson - Logan Bradley Moody and sister - Thelma "Chookie" Mullendore.

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:00AM at the United Methodist Church in Ryan with Rev. Debbie Kerr officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be Friday 10AM-8PM with family receiving visitors from 6-8PM. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church in Ryan.
