Edna Lou Hurley Mincher was born April 3, 1926, in Nocona, Texas, to Ira Emmitt and Fannie Jane Roberts Martin. Edna passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2005, in Ryan, Oklahoma, at the age of seventy-nine. Edna was a homemaker and attended the First Baptist Church in Ryan. Edna and Lacey Hugh Hurley were married in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1949. He preceded her in death in 1973. Edna and Ben Mincher were married in Clayton, Oklahoma, in 1976.

Survivors include: her husband Ben Mincher; four sons - Ira and his wife Rebecca Hurley, Eddie and his wife Lorena Hurley, Sam Hurley, and John and his wife Halley Hurley; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Mrs. Mincher were at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 28, 2005, at the Ryan Cemetery with Clarence Mize officiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
