Edith Opal Hill was born May 9, 1935 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Ford and Arizona (Whitsett) Bussey. She passed from this life Thursday, December 4, 2008 at the Ryan Nursing Home at the age of seventy-three. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ryan Assembly of God church. She and Allen "Red" Hill were married December 11, 1954 in Waurika, Oklahoma.
Opal is survived by her sons - Rick Hill and Amy Jeter of Wichita Falls, Texas and Jim "Blue" Hill and Diafletta Norseworth of Wichita Falls, Texas, daughter- Debbie Duncan and husband Richard of Ryan, Oklahoma, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and special nephew who was like a brother Tom Bussey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, one sister, and son Nathan.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 11:00AM at the Ryan Assembly of God with Rev. Paul Ratliff officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Visitation will be Friday from 10AM-8PM at the funeral home in Ryan, Oklahoma.
