Edgar Edward Sloan passed from this life Sunday, April 13, 2003, in Midwest City Hospital at the age of eighty-one. He was born January 26, 1922, to Plaz and Mary Ellen Sloan in Benjamin, Texas. Mr. Sloan was a farmer.

Survivors include: two brothers - George Sloan of Big Spring, TX, and Arthur Sloan of Oklahoma City, OK; two sisters - Bernice Roberts of Dennison, TX, and Lula Romines of Chico, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Funeral services for Mr. Sloan were at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at Terral Church of Christ with Larry Jackson officiating. Burial was in the Terral Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Terral.
