Eddie Lee Barnett was born August 13, 1946, in Bowie, Texas, to Alvin L. and Anna Virginia Throckmorton Barnett. He passed from this life Saturday, October 25, 2008, at his home in Byers, Texas, at the age of sixty - two. He worked in the oil fields for many years. He and Linda Williams were married February 10, 196,9 in Juarez, Mexico.
Survivors include: his wife Linda of the home in Byers, TX; three children - Michael Barnett of Wichita Falls, TX, Kristi Massie of Byers, TX, and Melissa Johnson of Burkburnett, TX; six grandchildren; and two sisters -Delores A. Paschall and Phillis Jean Dannels both of Missouri.
Memorial services for Mr. Barnett will be at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at the First Assembly of God in Byers, Texas. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika, Oklahoma.
