Bobby Wayne "Dusty" Boren
Bobby Wayne "Dusty" Boren, 60, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017, in Denton, Texas. He was born November 8, 1957, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Bobby Joe and Carol June (Myers) Boren. He was self-employed at Dusty's Windshield Repair and Replacement and worked on the family ranch and in the oilfield before starting his own business. He enjoyed his work and agriculture and found great comfort in his animals. He was most proud of his sobriety.
"Dusty" was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include: his mother Carol and her husband Gary Radford, his son Jeremy Boren, his sister Susie (Boren) and her husband Art Harris, and his nephews who were like brothers to him, Dustin and Justin, and five newly acquired step-siblings - Ronald Radford and his wife Shannon, Mary Siek, Lecia and Chris Mavors, Alison and Juan Cabrera, and Julie and Danny Radford; his girlfriend Dana Reece; his uncle Ronald Kenneth Myers and his wife Barbara; his aunt Shirley Gaines; nieces and nephews - Kelsi Harris and Robert Denney, Bobby Harris and his wife Davida, and Bodee Harris, and great nieces and nephews and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 28, 2017, at the Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Waurika with Rev. Bob Waitman officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with family receiving visitors from 5-7 PM.
