Drucilla Dean "Dru" Harper

Drucilla Dean Harper was born July 31, 1926 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Ebner and Virtle Bolden Harper. Dru passed from this life Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Waurika surrounded by family.

She worked at the telephone office in Ryan for many years as well as First State Bank in Ryan. She retired as clerk for the Jefferson County Health Department. Dru was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ryan. She enjoyed shopping and getting her nails done with her good friend Ethel and enjoyed visiting at Ryan Drug Store with her longtime friends - Juanita, Mollye, and Brionna. She also enjoyed spending time with her cousins Bobbie and Casey. They were always there to help her if she needed anything and were with her when she left this life to be with the Lord.

She is survived by several cousins.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Ryan with Rev. Steve Harshaw and Rev. Ed Harwood officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8PM and Saturday from 10AM-6PM at Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Memorials may be sent to the United Methodist Church in Ryan.
