Dr. Cassie Lee Duffer Burleson

Dr. Cassie Lee Duffer Burleson was born Oct 13, 1956 in Ada, OK. She departed this life January 7, 2021 in Wichita Falls, TX. She was buried in the Parks Cemetery, Stephens Co, OK. under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home, Waurika, OK. Due to COVID a memorial service will be held at a later date. Cassie graduated from high school in Ada Ok. She then received a bachelor’s degree from East Central University in Ada before attending Veterinary School at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. April 1984 she open Animal Medical Clinic in Burkburnett, TX. She lived to work and loved her profession. She look forward to going to work each day helping the clients and their animal. She was actively working until she was hospitalized in December with COVID. Cassie is survived by her husband, Connie Burleson, her daughter Cayley Burleson Webster DVM and husband Chris and son Chance Boulware. She is also survived by her parents Bill and Sally Duffer, one brother Mark Duffer and two sisters Diana Anderson and Janet Shepard. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
