Doyle LaJune Kittrell passed from this life Sunday, September 28, 2003, in the Comanche County Memorial Hospital at the age of seventy-two. He was born July 21, 1931, to Dewey and Erma Kittrell in Frederick, Oklahoma. Mr. Kittrell was a meat cutter in Dallas. He and Bobbie Clark were united in marriage August 3, 1952, in Archer City, Texas. Mr. Kittrell served his country in the Korean War. He was a member of the Waurika Church of Christ.
Survivors include: his wife, Bobbie, of the home in Waurika, OK; two sons - John Kittrell of Dallas, TX, and Don Kittrell of Hurst, TX; one daughter - Vicki Gilmore of Versailles, KY; two brothers - Glenn Kittrell of Irving, TX, and Clinton Sonny Kittrell of Weleetka, OK; two sisters - Paula Goodson of Sherman, TX, and Donna Knight of Fox, OK; and nine grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Erma Kittrell, two brothers, and one sister.
Graveside services for Mr. Kittrell were at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 1, 2003, in the Waurika Cemetery with Noel Curington officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
