Douglas Lloyd Doody passed from this life Tuesday, March 25, 2003, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the Integris Baptist Medical Center, at the age of fifty-three. He was born June 6, 1949, in Riverside, California, to Alduff and Beulah Doody. He was a truck driver. He and Sandra Jurgens were united in marriage on July 31, 1999, in Comanche, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: his wife, Sandy, of the home; two sons, Wilbur and Charlie; six brothers and sisters, Faith Helms, Al Doody, Hope Bridgeman, Charity Jurgens, Burince Phillips and Skip Doody; three grandchildren, Kenneth, Jacob and Crystal; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alduff and Beulah Doody, and one sister, Ruth Veira.

A memorial service was held for Mr. Doody at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 27, 2003, at Cornerstone Church in Duncan, Oklahoma with Pastor Helms officiating.
