Dotty J. Switzer was born September 3, 1943 in Phoenix, Arizona to Robert and Ruby Watson Harris. Dotty passed from this life Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Nocona Hospital at the age of sixty-six. She worked for Jefferson County Hospital and the Westbrook Nursing Home. She was a certified nurses aid and also worked in the dietary department. She worked for Carl's Jr. packing produce. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ryan. Dotty and Ronnie Switzer were married in March 1986 in Arlington, Texas.

She is survived by her husband Ronnie of the home in Ryan, children - Kenny Barker of Washington, LeeAnne Wilson and Amy Shilet both of Kentucky, and Keylee Switzer of the home in Ryan, sisters Anita Sue Richardson and Brenda Johnson both of Ryan, and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 10:00AM at the First Baptist Church in Ryan with Rev. Jason Vance officiating. Burial will be in the Poolevile Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24th from 10AM-8PM at the funeral home in Ryan.
