Doshie Elizabeth Taylor (Pritchard)

Doshie Elizabeth Taylor (Pritchard), 85, of Wylie, Texas, passed from this life December 9, 2013, at the Medical Center of Plano, Texas. She was born March 22, 1928, at Atoka, Oklahoma, to James Henry and Delona Louanna Gann Pritchard. She and Carl Douglas Taylor were married November 8, 1947, in Cochran County, Texas. She was a Christian and a housekeeper. She cared for and helped many people and never said "no" to anyone in need. She will be loved and missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl Douglas Taylor, two sisters - Dorothy Smart and Betty Thames, and two brothers - Jimmy Carroll Pritchard and Edward Maurice Pritchard.

Survivors include: one son - Jimmy Douglas Taylor of Dallas, TX; one daughter - Sadra Carlene Thames of Bowie TX; grandchildren - Joe Wayne Finelli, Sherri Rhone Fischer, Jody Taylor Brannon, Britt Taulor Welch, Carrie Rhone Hopkins and J.D. Taylor; great-grandchildren - Bailey Finelli, Tyler Housden, Kelsey Finelli, Quentin Allen, Garrett Brannon, Dylan Mays, Austin Hopkins, Samantha Hopkins, and Luke Welch; great-great-grandchildren - Jayson Shuck, Naveah Shuck and Peightynn Allen; sisters Mary and her husband Eldon Long and Ada Ruth Bingman; nephew Olen Ray Long; and niece Linda Long.

A memorial service for Mrs. Taylor will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Ryan Cemetery with Rev. Karen Slater officiating.
