Dorothy Eldarine (Jones) Bruton
Dorothy Eldarine (Jones) Bruton, 98, formerly of Duncan and Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life September 11, 2016. At the time of her passing she lived in Allen. Texas. She was born May 14, 1918, in Ben Hur, Texas, to Hervey P. and Lura (Linebarger) Jones. She and James G. Bruton were married August 10, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Waurika. She was a homemaker.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Hervey P. and Lura Jones, and her husband James Bruton.
Survivors include:and her son Lance Garman of Elgin, IL; her step-daughter Virginia Bruton of Portland, OR; her sisters Mary H. Powell of Allen, TX, and Hazel Luerson of Texas City, TX; and several nieces and nephews from Texas.
A graveside service will be held for Mrs. Bruton at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 15, 2016, at the Resthaven Memorial Cemetery in Duncan, Oklahoma with Curtis Plant officiating.
