Donna Gail Cox was born August 10, 1956, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James and Alice Green Hicks. She passed from this life December 25, 2007, at the Comanche County Memorial Hospital at the age of fifty-one. She and Robert Cox were married in 1987, in Ryan, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death January 17, 2004. She was a respiratory therapist at the Jefferson County Hospital in Waurika for several years.

Survivors include: her son Adam Blake Cox of Ryan, OK; brothers and sisters; Wanda Thomas of Redwood Valley, CA, Linda Mann of Colbert, OK, Truey Hicks of Colbert, OK, Vivian Turner of Marietta, OK, and Paul Hicks of Houston, TX, Regina Westbrook of Duncan, OK, Jeff Hicks of Ryan, OK, and Melvin Hicks of Roanoak, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers Reece Hicks and Nathan Hicks.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cox will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2007, at the Assembly of God Church in Ryan with Bro. Paul Ratliff officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Ryan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Assembly of God Church in Ryan.
