Donald Eugene Dalton, Jr.
Donald Eugene Dalton, Jr. was born June 15, 1966 in Casper, Wyoming to Don and Karen Dalton. Don passed from this life July 14, 2020 at the Duncan Regional Hospital at the age of 54 after a sudden illness. He married Stacy Etheridge February 24, 1989 and made their home in Waurika. To this union were born two sons Zachary and Brandon Dalton. During his lifetime he held various jobs including the City of Waurika Water Department, Volunteered as an EMT for the Waurika Ambulance Service, as an Electrician for Ellsworth Electric, and as a Deputy for Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
His hobbies included participating in the Marlow Gunfighter's Association, buying, selling, and trading on the internet, spending time with his wife Stacy, their children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed cooking out with Brandon and Zac and working on cars with them. At other times he enjoyed morning coffee with his father-in-law, Wayne Etheridge. In his spare time he enjoyed working on his house and doing anything that allowed him to be creative with his hands. He had the ability to fix just about anything mechanical or electrical.
Don was a member of the Crossbrand Cowboy Church of Waurika. He enjoyed volunteering and helping the congregation in any way he could.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Don and Karen Dalton, his sister Lori Griffin, and his mother-in-law Faye Etheridge.
Don is survived by his wife Stacy Dalton of the home, Zachary Dalton of Waurika, OK; Brandon Dalton and Jennifer of Waurika, OK; and Sister Deborah and her husband Adam Towell and nephews Gage, Jaden and Cooper Towell of Brevard, North Carolina; Nephew James and his wife Jessiqua Griffin, and their children; Charlie, Kinzleihh, Ryilee, Joseph and Lori. Grandchildren Mary, Weston, Laiklee, Treyton, Rhilee, Rhiot, Noah, Racee, Benny, and Rylee.
A Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 19th at the Crossbrand Cowboy Church with Pastor Tom Brooks officiating assisted by Curtis Plant.
