Donald Wayne Donnie Davis was born November 7, 1950, to W.D. and Virginia Davis in Ryan, Oklahoma, and passed from this life October 9, 2003, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of fifty-two. After graduating high school, Donnie served in the U.S. Navy. He was a self-employed electrician until he began working at the Waurika and Comanche sale barns.

Survivors include: his parents - W.D. and Virginia Davis, of Ryan, OK; two sons - Darrell Davis of Comanche, OK, and Derrick Davis of Grapevine, TX; one brother - David Davis of Ryan, OK; one sister - Reta Story of Ryan, OK; and one grandson - Bradley Davis.

Funeral services for Mr. Davis were at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 11, 2003, at the Ryan Assembly of God Church with Bro. Clarence Mize and Bro. Paul Ratliff officiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
