Donald Wayne Campbell, of Comanche, died Friday, May 11, 2001, in Duncan Regional Hospital. Services were at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 15, 2001, in Pairie Hill Church of Christ, officiated by Mario Pineda. Burial was in Dixie Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home.
Mr. Campbell was born July 3, 1938, in Duncan. He worked in the oil field and for Doug Stange Furniture.
Survivors include: his mother, Winnie Robinson of Comanche; three brothers, Carl Robison of Holland, and J.D. and Bob Robinson, both of Comanche; and two sisters, Charlene Abshire of Ringling, OK, and Linda McFarland of Comanche.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Campbell; step-father, Olan Robison, and one brother, Lawrence Robison.
Pallbearers were J.R. Davis, Don Strange, Kenneth Lewis, Doug Strange, Doug Strange, Jr., W.G. Strange, and Billy Gray.
