Donald Wayne Bridges was born November 17, 1934, in Hastings, Oklahoma, to Arthur and Lota Blay Bridges. He passed from this life peacefully Wednesday, November 09, 2005, at his home at the age of seventy. He served his county in the United States Army in the Korean War and later became a truck driver. He was a member of the Hastings Baptist Church and the Hastings Domino Club. He and Renay Capes were married February 1, 1995, in Waurika, Oklahoma.

Survivors include: his wife Renay, of the home in Hastings, OK; one son - Brad Bridges of Tulsa, OK; three daughters - Donna Bridges of Modesto, CA, Sandra Houston of Comanche, OK, and Shelley Thompson of Duncan, OK; five brothers - Olin Bridges of Canyon City, CO, Dugan Bridges of Wilson, OK, Gary Bridges of Amarillo, TX, Farrell Bridges of Marlow, OK, and Loren Bridges of Midlothian, TX; three sisters - Pat Burgess of Logan, NM, Charlotte Peck of Duncan, OK, and Lisa Gilmore of Rockdale, TX; six grandchildren - Shawn, Landon, Chance, Mark, Samantha, and Zachary; and one gerat-granddaughter.

Graveside services for Mr. Bridges were at 11:00 AM, Friday, November 11, 2005, at the Hastings Cemetery with Curtis Plant officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika, Oklahoma.
