Dolly Beth (Nelson) Roche
Dolly Beth (Nelson) Roche, 94, of Waurika, Oklahoma, passed from this life April 19, 2019. She was born August 18, 1924, in Willis, Texas, to John Admiral and Jessamine Edith (Wilson) Nelson. She was a homemaker and lived for many years in Houston, Texas. From there she moved to Cold Spring, Texas and later to Waurika, Oklahoma. She married Thomas James (Tommy) Roche August 15, 1942. She was an artist, painting mostly pictures of interesting scenery. She loved keeping up with her children, grand children and great grandchildren. She was kind to everyone she met and was beautiful, inside and out.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tommy Roche, her sister Leota Collier, her brothers John Nelson and his wife Patsy, and Jack Nelson and his wife Joann, and three nephews - Joe, John, and Steve Nelson.
Survivors include: her children - Sandra and her husband Pat Dudley of Waurika, Oklahoma, Winna (Wendy) and her husband Woody Wilbur of Montgomery, Texas, Charlotte and her husband Robert Smith of Austin, Texas, and Thomas N. Roche of Houston, Texas; her step-daughter Floreine Young of Texas City, TX; her grandchildren - Patrick Dudley and his wife America, Ronny Sanders and his wife Kim, Dana Wilbur, Bo Bezdek and his wife Jenna, Scott Nelson and his wife Jessica, Nick Nelson, Sarah Smith, Jessica and her husband Rick Martinez, Jessica Bigelow, Rick Bigelow and his wife Jennifer, Thomas Roche and his wife Carly, and Adrienne Roche; and great-grandchildren - Lauren and Landon Sanders, Braden, Brittany, Lauren and Alyssa Bezdek, Cameron Nelson, and Ricky, Jennifer Paige, and Liam Bigelow.
Funeral services will be scheduled at a later date. Visitation in Waurika has been postponed and will be scheduled for a later date as well.
