Diane Louise Mulick, 71, of Waynesville, North Carolina (formerly of Wichita Falls, Texas) passed from this life Wednesday, September 13, 2017. She was born May 5, 1946, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Edward Eugene and Alice Louise (Shoemaker) Mulick. She was a retired social worker working for the Texas Department of Human Services. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Omaha, where she also graduated high school. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She always welcomed people into her home, in fact, when her children were younger, their home was "the place to be."
Diane was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters - Kathryn Elliott and Colleen Mulick.
Survivors include: her children: Kymberly Cullar (her children Chloe, Claire Diane and Connor and her granddaughter Layla), Kelly Louise Toris (her daughter Olivia, Sophia, and Natalia Louise), Kristen (her husband John Caplinger and their children Hannah, Jonah, Jeriah, and Priscillah and their grandson Jeremiah), and Bryan Kirk (his wife Mistee and their children Mollee and Bree); and her sister Deborah (her husband Joe Giesler).
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 23, 2017, at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home Chapel in Wichita Falls, Texas, with Rick Rosalez officiating. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wichita Falls, Texas. Pallbearers will be Jonah Caplinger, Jeriah Caplinger, Connor Cullar, Joseph Roberson, Martin Valverde, and Phillip Morrison. Services will be under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Family visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2017, at the Owens and Brumley Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the NAMI Association or to Women's Refuge in Wichita Falls.
