Devin Duane Torrez Burden was born March 4, 2002, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He passed from this life Monday, May 26, 2008, in Wichita County, Texas, near his home in Electra, at the age of six. Devin attended Electra Elementary School. He played shortstop for the Sandgnats T-ball team in Electra.

He is survived by: his parents Rodney Burden and Liticia Torrez Burden of Electra, Texas; one brother - Ethan Burden; one sister - Natalie Burden; grandparents - Harold and Naomi Burden, JoAnn and Bink Knight, Ruthie Brown, and Robert Torrez; great grandparents - Lou and Vic Long and M.R. and Felix Torrez; uncles - Rusty Burden and Duane Torrez; aunt - Ashley Burden; and several cousins, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by an aunt Stephanie Mills.

Funeral services for Devin will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 31, 2008, at the Church of Christ in Ryan, Oklahoma, with David Wingfield officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be Friday from 3-8PM.
