Derel Gene Riddles, Sr., of Comanche, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Thursday, January 9, 2003, at the age of fifty-nine. He was born July 19, 1943, in Comanche, Oklahoma, to Olton D. and Vina Riddles. Mr. Riddles was an oil field worker.

Survivors include: three sons - Derel Gene Riddles, Jr., of Kingston, OK, Kevin Wayne Riddles of Kingston, OK, and Justin Kyle Riddles of Duncan, OK; one daughter - Ranessa Ranae Gomez of Duncan, OK; one brother - Arlis Riddles; one sister - Violet Hayes; two grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Funeral services for Mr. Riddles were at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2003, at the Chisholm Trail Church of Christ in Duncan, Oklahoma with Leonard Keele officiating. Burial was in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
