Delbert Curtis Fenimore was born October 19, 1924, in Bridge Creek, Oklahoma, to Haley Casper and Elize McCouan Fenimore. Delbert passed from this life Wednesday, September 21, 2005, in Waurika, Oklahoma at the age of eighty. He was an airplane mechanic. He served his country in the United States Army, and he was a member of the Hastings Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary, of the home in Waurika, OK; two stepsons - Jerry Busby and Bob Busby, both of Waurika, OK; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister.
Graveside services for Mr. Fenimore were at 11:00 AM, September 23, 2005, at the Duncan City Cemetery with Audie Dorrough officiating. Burial was under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Pallbearers were Kevin Horn, Rick Herrington, Bob Busby, Jr., Brent Busby, Ryan Busby, Brent James, Eddie Menifee, and Raymond Busby. Honorary bearers were Rick Mosier, Josh Berry, Doug Elkins, Robbye English, and Cameron Busby.
