David Cecil Davis was born January 8, 1947 in Ryan, Oklahoma to William David "W.D." and Virginia (Maness) Davis. He passed from this life Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City. David served his country in the United States Marines serving two tours in Viet Nam. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Duncan. He worked for 3B Industries installing and servicing various car washes for the company.

He is survived by his mother Virginia Davis of Ryan, sister - Reta Story-Flores and husband Tony of Dallas, Texas, daughters - Rebecca Yeager and Jenny Smith, two grandsons, nieces and nephews - Jeff and Dana Davis and children Jacob and Ryan, Darrell and Mandi Davis and children Bradley, JaKaycee, Gavin and Jake, Derrick and Hannah Davis and children Aidan and Audrey.
He was preceded in death by his father W.D. Davis and brother Donald Wayne "Donnie" Davis.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 2:00PM at the Ryan Assembly of God in Ryan with Bro. Paul Ratliff officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be from noon-8PM Monday. Memorials may be made to the Ryan Assembly of God.
