Dale V. Yarbrough was born August 31, 1929 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Ervin J. and Viney D. Smith Yarbrough. He passed from this life Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the Ardmore Hospital at the age of seventy-nine. He served his country in the United States Air Force in the Korean war. He and Elaine Cassity Wood were married in February 1972 in Oklahoma City. He was a retired municipal employee of Oklahoma City.
Survivors include his wife Elaine of the home in Waurika, son - J.D. Yarbrough of Marietta, daughters - Debbie Bartek and husband Wayne of Belton, Texas, Cindy Ratliff of Fulton, Arkansas, Donna Wood of Waurika, and Penny Landeros and husband Carlos of Enid, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren, sisters- Jean Bunch of Lindsay, Betty Holliday and Ardyth Hoffines both of Oklahoma City.
Memorial service will be at 2:00PM Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Rev. Curtis Plant officiating.
