Connie Lee Stanley was born December 29, 1921 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Dallas Mayo and Mamie Lee Stanley and passed from this life Thursday, March 8, 2001 in Meridian Nursing Home at the age of 79. Connie was a homemaker, a life-long resident of Comanche, Oklahoma, a member of the First Baptist Church in Comanche and an avid antique collector.

She and Charlie Wirt Apple were united in marriage July 15, 1941 in Comanche, Oklahoma.

Connie is survived by her husband Charlie Wirt Apple of Comanche, Oklahoma; one sone, Chris Apple and his wife Jill of Plano, Texas; two daughters, Sherry Kinder and her husband Joe of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Karen Jones and her husband Jim of Edmond, Oklahoma; three sisters, Merle Jarrett of Enid, Oklahoma, Wanda Dyer of Comanche, Oklahoma, and Ann Bell of Enid, Oklahoma; Grandchildren - Kirt and Rachel Jones, Kelli and Terri Ball, Bruce and Monica Jones, Kevin Kinder, Jay and Kathee Jones, Creighton, Madeline and Chandler Apple; Great-grandchildren, Jordan and Cooper Jones, Brooke, Madison, and Blake Jones and Carson Ball.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 12, 2001 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Comanche with Jerry Smith officiating. Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
