Sharlett Colleen McLemore was born September 3, 1935, in Walters, Oklahoma, to Joe and Fern Morris McNeil. She passed from this life Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at the Jefferson County Hospital in Waurika, Oklahoma. She and Loy Lee McLemore were married May 12, 1954, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Addington Baptist Church. Colleen was a custodian for the Jefferson County Courthouse before her retirement. She was a pink lady at the Jefferson County Hospital and an ombudsman for Waurika Nursing Home.

Survivors include: her children - Beverly and her husband John Biby of Kingfisher, OK, Linda and her husband Rocky Graham of Addington, OK, Dena McLemore of Addington, OK, Johnny Grice and his wife Jennifer of Whitney, TX, Joe McLemore and his wife Melanie of Midwest City, OK, Cindy Sanders of Comanche, OK, and Samantha and Kasey Stallcup of Addington, OK; her grandchildren - Chad and Tammi Lehew, Casey Lehew, Shannon Carey, Mistie Clawson, Brandon Biby, Jake and Abby Graham, James and Amanda Graham, John Graham, Devon McLemore, Fallon and Hunter Grice, Tyler Grice, Marissa and Steven Moore, Bubba Sanders, and Alayna Stallcup; her great-grandchildren - Bailey Lehew, Haleigh Underwood, Cheyenne Clawson, Zane Carey, Hannah Carey, Savannah Clawson, Lexi Biby, Jaci Graham, Allisa Moore, Tyson Graham, Cody and Nona Smith, and Kirby Smith; and one great-great-grandchild Colton Smith.

Funeral services for Mrs. McLemore were at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 9, 2008, at the Addington Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Summers and Rev. Jeremy Stowe officiating. Burial was in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Memorial contributions may be made to the Addington Baptist Youth Fund or the Addington Perpetual Care Cemetery.
