Clyde Leslie Parker was born March 9, 1913, in Bokchito, Oklahoma, to Columbus Washington and Mary Elizabeth Mollie Meeks Parker. Clyde passed from this life Wednesday, February 28, 2007, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of ninety-three. He and Jonnie Peck were married September 3, 1935, in Waurika, Oklahoma. Clyde attended the First United Methodist Church of Waurika.

Clyde was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Claud W. Parker

Survivors include: his wife of seventy-one years, Jonnie, of the home in Waurika, OK; two daughters - Ruth Klydene Parker Riggs of Alliance, OH, and Dortha Jean Parker Biggs of Medicine Park, OK; grandchildren - Jake Jacobs, Lesli Shanin Jacobs, Rickey Riggs, and Tommy Riggs; and great-grandchildren - Chase Parker Jacobs, Joshua Ryan Jacobs, Bradley Reese Jacobs, and Tommy Allen Riggs.

Funeral services for Mr. Parker were at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 2, 2007, at the First United Methodist Church in Waurika, with Rev. Trevor Smith officiating. Burial was in Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation was Thursday, March 1, 2007, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at the funeral home in Waurika.
