Cleta Joyce Morgan

Cleta Joyce Morgan, 78, passed from this life Friday, October 30, 2015, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born July 22, 1937, in Ryan, Oklahoma, to Lawrence and Waunita (Dodd) Hunt. She and Donald Ray Morgan were married November 6, 1954, in Ryan. She was a Certified Medication Aide at Marlow Manor and Kanakuk (Country Club Care) in Duncan. She was a member of the Western Heights Baptist Church. She loved to garden, canning pickles, blackberry jam and green beans.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother - Virgil Hunt.

Survivors include: her husband, Don, of the home; children - Donna Greer and her husband Lynn, Cindy Schoonover and her husband Keith, and Susan Corcorran and her husband Richard; siblings - FayNell Stone and her husband R.V., and Raymond Hunt and his wife Betty; eight grandchildren - Cory Greer, Amy Greer, Angela Burge, Donnie Corcorran, Josh Schoonover, Tori Apel, Luke Schoonover, and Rachelle Boyer; eight great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Funeral services for Mrs. Morgan will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 2, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Ryan with Jerry Couch and Steve Spangler officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan. Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Ryan from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday and from 9:00 AM to noon Monday. Pallbearers will be the grandsons. Memorial contributions may be made to St Judes Childrens Hospital.
