Cleo Don Lindesmith passed from this life Wednesday, August 14, 2002, at the age of sixty-two. He was born at his home on Stephens County Line, Oklahoma, on July 15, 1940, to Leo and Pauline Lindesmith. He worked for Halliburton as a hydrolic rebuilder for eighteen years. He and Peggy Claudine Wright were united in marriage on April 14, 1962. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his wife Peggy, of the home; one son - Greg Lindesmith of Comanche, OK; one daughter - Lorie Sullivan of Waurika, OK; his step-mother - Wynema Lindesmith; ten step-brothers and step-sisters - Michael Martin, Lajuana Lewis, Wayne Lindesmith, LaRue Parker, Tressia Bond, Steve Martin, Cleo Barnes, Lynette Martin, Darlene Martin, and Billie Ruth Huff; and five grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Pauline Lindesmith, one step-brother, and one step-sister.

Funeral services for Mr. Lindesmith were at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 16, 2002, at Addington First Baptist Church with Ralph Slate officiating. Burial was in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Society.
