Clay Michael Turner

Clay Michael Turner was born June 22, 1952 to Rosa (Williams) and J.D. Turner in Waurika, Oklahoma. Clay passed from this life Sunday, May 29, 2016 at his home in Ryan at the age of 63.
Clay and Harriet Dean Burton were married August 16, 1970, in Terral, Oklahoma. Clay served his country in the United States Army where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal Sharpshooter M-16. He was a pipe fitter and welder working for Geep Mechanical. Clay attended Cross Brand Cowboy Cchurch in Waurika. He enjoyed oil painting and woodworking and tried his hand at bull frog farming.
Clay is survived by his wife Harriet of the home in Ryan; Children - Kasey Turner and wife Cristy, Kelley Grant and husband Donnie, and Boomer and Stephanie Wesberry; Grandchildren - Christopher, Blaine, Alex, Madison, Kyler, Ava, Brody, Kade, Klay, Zach, Jacob, Bailey, and Hunter; Great grandchild - Jacksten Grant; Siblings - W.L. Turner, Dale Turner, Jerry Turner and wife Vivian, Aline Cabrera and husband Emilio, Lucille Pritchard and Linda Turner. He is also survived by one of his best friends - Baby Girl.
Clay was preceded in death by his parents, brother- Billy Jack Turner, sister -Margaret Turner and husband Charles, brother in law Jimmy Pritchard, sisters-in-law - Joyce Turner and Barbara Turner, and nephew Bubba Pritchard.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Waurika with Bob Waitman and Mark Kunkel officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be at Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Ryan from noon-8 PM Tuesday.
