Chester Leon Lehew

Chester Leon Lehew was born July 15, 1928, in Marlow, Oklahoma, to Chester and Meade Ziggenfuss Lehew. Chester passed from this life Sunday, October 19, 2003, at the Jefferson County Hospital, at the age of seventy-five. He and Wanda Little were united in marriage May 20, 1965, in Arkansas. Chester served his country in the U.S. Arm in Vietnam and the Korean War.

Survivors include: his wife, Wanda, of the home in Waurika, OK; foursons - Jeff Lehew and his wife Cathy of Duncan, OK, Chester Lehew of Chickasha, OK; Lester Lehew of Waurika, OK, and Mark Lehew and his wife Brenda of Oklahoma City, OK; four daughters - Linda Clark and her husband Emit of Chickasha, OK, Cathy Robertson and her husband Darrell of Chickasha, OK, Sherry Fulton and her husband J.C. of Coweta, OK, and LaDonna Goforth and her husband Wes of Oklahoma City, OK; one brother - Wayne Lehew of Ninnekah, OK; twelve grandchildren - Erin Clark, April Hubbard, Chad and Casey Lehew, Chistopher, Jacob, and Duece Robertson, Chistopher and Curtis Lehew, Beaux Chandler, Jenna Fulton, Zachary Goforth, and Makayla Lehew; and twelve great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Kevin Lehew.

Funeral services for Mr. Lehew were Thursday, October 23, 2003, at the First Baptist Church in Waurika with Audie Dorrough officiating. Graveside services followed at the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
