Charles Warren was born March 23, 1939 in Waurika, Oklahoma, to P.J. Jake and Margaret Boots Palmer Warren and passed from this life at Meridian Nursing Home, Thursday July 21, 2005, at the age of sixty-six. Charles married Janet Williams July 19, 1961, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He worked as a cement finisher for Brown & Root. Charles served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include: his wife Janet, of the home in Comanche, OK; four sons - Bryan and his wife Sharon of Ringling, OK, Kelly of Atoka, OK, Heath of Comanche, OK, and Ricky of Georgetown, TX; three daughters - Kimmie Haggard of Austin, TX, Tonya and her husband Terry Brown of Comanche, OK, and Connie Williams Whittington of Duncan, OK; nine grandchildren; two sisters - Betty and her husband Henry Bush of Wichita Falls, TX, and Wanda and her husband Fred Brownlee of Keller, TX; and one brother - P.J. and his wife Helen Warren of Bridgecreek, OK.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and two infant children, Kathy and Michael Warren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Warren were at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 23, 2005, at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Comanche with Rev. Jim Gilllum officiating. Burial was in Sugden Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche. Pallbearers were Joe Warren, Frankie Torrez, Kaleb Fitzgerald, Heath Warren, Bryan Warren, Ricky Warren, and Lee Tahchawwickah.
