Charity RayLynn Barnes
Charity RayLynn Barnes was born September 14, 1983 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Steve Ray and Sherry Lynn (Lyons) Barnes. She passed from this life Friday, March 4, 2011 at the age of twenty-seven. Charity was a nurses aide at Westbrook Care Center in Waurika. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waurika. She enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, camping at the lake, listening to music and most of all watching her kids play ball.
She leaves behind her parents - Steve and Sherry Barnes of Waurika, fiance - Chris Lewis of Waurika, children - Destiny Barnes, Faith Roberson, Madison Roberson, Aaron Nitka, and Alana Lewis, siblings - Justin Barnes and Tiffany Barnes, grandparents Gary Lyons and Opal Barnes, aunts and uncles - Shelby Barnes and wife Debbie of Duncan, Carolyn Potts of Miama, OK., and Paula White of Waurika, five nieces - Brooklyn Barnes, Bailey Romero, Trinity Barnes, Jasmine Romero and Abagail Barnes, one nephew - Easton Barnes and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandparents -Myron Barnes and Sue Lyons.
Funeral service for Charity will be at 1:00PM Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Waurika with Jeff McLemore officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be from noon - 8PM Monday and 9-11AM Tuesday. Memorials may be to the Westbrook Care Center.
