Cecilia "Sally" Tripp was born August 26, 1918 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania to John and Rose Graff. She passed from this life Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore at the age of ninety. She served her country in World War II. She also worked as a nurse at the Jefferson County Hospital and as the County Health Nurse. Sally and Ted Tripp were married in New Kensington, Pennsylvania on December 31, 1946.
She is survived by her husband Ted of the home, son, Richard "Pat" Tripp and wife Penny of Bowie, Texas; daughter, Annette Hatton and husband Gary of Highland, Maryland; brother, William Graff and wife Audrey of New Kensington, Pennsylvania; grandson, Tad Tripp of Bowie, Texas.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and two brothers.
Graveside services will be Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 10:30AM at the Waurika Cemetery with Father Christopher Tran officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Friday from 9AM-7PM with the family receiving visitors from 5-7PM. Memorials may be sent to charity of choice.
