Carolyn Christine (Anderson) Garza
Carolyn Christine (Anderson) Garza, 67, of Denton, Texas, was born December 2, 1952, in Waurika, Oklahoma, to F.D. "Bud" and Gertrude (Kafer) Anderson. She passed from this life in Denton, Texas October 27, 2020. She was a 1971 graduate of Ryan High School in Ryan, Oklahoma, and graduated from Cameron/Southwestern University.
Carolyn worked as a probation officer. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Denton, Texas where she was a member of the choir. She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her grandchildren and the Ya Ya Sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: her son Christoper Garza and his wife Monica Nunez-Garza of Houston, TX, and her daughter Rebecca and her husband Clint DeBusk of Denton, TX; her siblings – Charles Anderson of Walters, OK, Margaret Anderson of Walters, OK, and Marie Harris of Oklahoma City, OK; two grandchildren – Finis DeBusk and Ayrton Debusk.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, November 2, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Ryan with Ron Branham officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. The Dudley Funeral Home Chapel will be open at 9:00 AM, Monday for visitors to sign the book. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church in Denton or the SPCA.
