Carlyn Glynn (Feemster) Proctor
Carlyn Glynn (Feemster) Proctor, 84, passed from this life October 28, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was born February 21, 1932, in Vera, Texas, to Ralph and Crystal (Hobbs) Feemster. She loved working in the yard and after she got to where she couldn't do yard work she became a good "boss." She enjoyed going to the casino and loved to go dancing, especially at the Whitehorse Cafe in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was a retired photo finisher, having worked for Fox, Rainbow and Texcolor.
Carlyn was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Crystal Feemster, and her sister Melva Drummond.
Survivors include: her husband Eldon, of the home in Wichita Falls, TX; her sons James Dunn of San Antonio, TX, and Kyle Proctor of Norman, OK; her daughters Marilyn and her husband Bob Gatewood of Temple, TX, and Glynda and her husband Glen McBride of Abilene, TX; her brother Buddy Feemster and his wife Kay of Kim, CO; her sister Waynette Bebb of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Carlyn will be at 11:30 AM, Monday, October 31, 2016, at the Waurika Cemetery with Harvey McMurry officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Visitation will be at the Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika from 10:00 AM to service time on Monday.
