Cammie Christean Lakins was born December 16, 1911, in Horseshoe Bend, Oklahoma, to George and Oretha Ranes Lakins and passed from this life March 1, 2001 at home in Healdton, Oklahoma at the age of 89. Cammie and Joseph Alexander Miller were united in marriage October 5, 1929 in Duncan, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death February 18, 1985. She was a homemaker.

Cammie is survived by one son, Jerry Miller of Healdton, Oklahoma; one daughter, Linda Miller Davidson of Duncan, Oklahoma; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, JoEllen and twelve of her brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held at Ray of Hope Church in Comanche on Tuesday, March 6, 2001 with Jimmy May and Dow Pannell officiating. Burial was in Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.
