F.D. Bud Anderson passed from this life on Wednesday, June 19, 2002, in the Ryan Nursing Home at the age of ninety. He was born November 28, 1911, to O.C. and Mattie Allen Anderson in Buffalo Springs, Texas. F.D. and Gertrude were united in marriage on December 31, 1933, in Waurika, Oklahoma. Mr. Anderson was a rancher/farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ryan and was also active in Farm Bureau and many community activities.

Survivors include: his wife, Gertrude Anderson of the home in Ryan, OK; one son, Charles Anderson of Walters, OK, three daughters - Margaret Anderson of Burkburnett, TX, Marie Harris of Oklahoma City, OK, and Carolyn Garza of Ft. Worth, TX; two brothers - Calvin Anderson and Bill Anderson, both of Orville, CA; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, O.C. and Mattie Allen Anderson, two brothers, and four sisters.

Funeral services for Mr. Anderson were at 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 22, 2002, in the Ryan First Baptist Church with Randy Allen and Clarence Mize offiating. Burial was in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Ryan.
