Clyde D. Bub McLemore

Clyde D. "Bub" McLemore was born May 27, 1927 in Addington, Oklahoma to Clyde and Jewel Salmon McLemore. Bub passed from this life Thursday, March 28, 2013 at his home in Loco.
Bub was raised in Addington and graduated from Addington High School. He and Jeanette Thompson were married June 19, 1953 in Chickasha. They moved to Loco in 1954 where Bub went to work for Short and Price Oil Company as a manager. He worked for Short and Price Oil Company until his retirement in 1989. Jeanette died in 1984. Bub moved to Duncan in 1989 before settling back on the family farm at Loco in 2006. He raised Register Quarter Horses along with Brahma and Limousin Cattle. Bub always had lots of dogs. He loved working with his animals. Bub was a Methodist.
He is survived by his three daughters - Marilea McGee and her husband, HC of Grandfield, Oklahoma, Connie McLemore-Case and husband, Joe of Loco, Oklahoma, and Gayle Cook and her husband, Larry of Duncan, Oklahoma; three grandchildren - Lonnie McGee and his wife, Alice of Grandfield, Oklahoma, Lynette McGee of Grandfield, Oklahoma and fiancé, Dustin Glenn of Mannsville, Oklahoma, and Melissa Schaeffer of Duncan, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren - Daniella McGee and Colin Stoddard of Grandfield, Oklahoma, and Devan Schaeffer of Duncan, Oklahoma; one sister in law - Avanell McLemore of Loco, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette, his parents, two brothers - L.L. "Trick" McLemore and MR "PeeWee" McLemore, one sister in law - Colleen McLemore, a nephew - Joe Clyde McLemore and a special friend - Oma Schaeffer.
Graveside funeral service will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00AM at the Ryan Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9AM-7PM with family receiving visitors from 6-7PM. Family requests memorials contributions be made to Main Street House of Prayer, Box 60, Loco, Oklahoma 73442.
