Bruce Roark

Bruce Roark was born in Waurika, OK, on September 25, 1962, to Dwayne Roark and Nelda (Kirkland) Roark and passed December 29, 2016.

Bruce graduated high school in 1980 from Washington, OK, and worked for Halliburton Energy Services for most of his adult life. He loved his family and was very proud of them and cherished their time together. Bruce was an avid sports fan, enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh, and loved playing with his grandbabies.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Brenda Roark of Duncan, OK; his two daughters - Katelyn Dixon of OKC, and Tessa Dotson and her husband Joose of Dover, DE; two step-children - Kindra McSpadden and her husband James, and Trina Haney and her husband Brett, all of Duncan, OK; his mother, Nelda Ashmore of Yukon, OK; two siblings - Rhonda Thornbrough and her husband Kenneth, Jr. of Yukon, OK, and Mike Roark and his wife Kelly of Edmond, OK. Bruce had three grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father Dwayne Roark.

Bruce was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and we know he is at peace with Him now.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 6, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Waurika under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.dudleyfuneralhomes.com.
