Olen Maurice Bink Knight

Olen Maurice "Bink" Knight was born August 13, 1943 in Belton, Texas to Olen Henry and Maude (Doughty) Knight. He passed from this life Tuesday, September 25, 2012 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 69.

He and Louise were married November 2, 1963 in Temple, Texas.

She preceded him in death in 1995. He married JoAnn Burden on June 17, 1996 in Henrietta, Texas. Bink was a truckdriver most of his life and also worked for Halliburton for over 20 years. He was a member of the Ryan Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife JoAnn Knight of Ryan, children - Olen Jr. "Rowdy" Knight and wife Kendra of Krum, Texas and Carla Prestwich and husband Jeff of Ryan, Oklahoma, two stepsons - Rusty Burden and wife Mary of Wyoming and Rodney Burden of Ryan, Oklahoma, sister - Mary Ward of Moody, Texas, six grandchildren - Jake Englishbee, Whitni Englishbee, Danna Castillo, April McCauley, Shane Prestwich, and Lane Prestwich, eleven great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Bink was preceded in death by his parents, wife Louise, sister - Jimmie Mitchum, and brothers - Jim Vaden, Bobby Joe Carter, and William Bill "Tumpy" Vaden.

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 10:00AM at the Ryan Church of Christ with David Wingfield officiating. Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be from 2-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home. (612 Washington).
